Sohna Sulphur Springs and Tourist Complex:- The tiny town with pretty
name, Sohna is credited with sulphur springs is just 56 Kms from Delhi. This
is situated in the heart of the town by the side of a perpendicular rock and
is approachable only on foot through small narrow lanes where vehicles can not
pass. The water is strongly sulphurate and its temperature varies from 46°
C to 51.7C. ° The present site of main kund, called Shiv Kund, is believed
to have been the ancient abode of hermits. The hot water is believed to have
curative effect on skin infections and diseases like gout and rheumatism. Hindus
consider the tank sacred and come for a dip in its water on solar/lunar eclipse
and Somavati Amavasya. A bath complex is a special attraction. Tastefully designed.
Here we have a sauna, massage and steam bath chamber : A splash pool and a pool
side cafe : For the tourist with exclusive preferences - there are luxurious
cottages. For the family man lie family cottages and motel wings. A new restaurant
and bar block look out to the panoramic view that unfolds below. The complex
is studded with an extravagance of colour-ful flowers, trees and shrubs. Its
vast landscape with peacocks strutting about grips one with all its beauty and
splendor. Sohna by night becomes a wonderland of lights, simply bewitching.

01 ARRIVE DELHI
Half day tour of Delhi visiting- Red Fort, Humayuns Tomb, Government Buildings,
Qutub Minar and in the afternoon drive to Sohna. Stay at Motel.
DAY 02
Morning enjoy Sauna, Massage and Steam Bath. Afternoon leave for Delhi and on
arrival transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.

and 42 km from Delhi, the place is a haven for bird lovers. It is a find of
Peter Jackson, the world famous authority on bird watching. It was opened for
tourists on 6th Feb. 1972. To this lonely and lovely retreat, flock the migrant
birds from Europe and Siberia. These birds come here with the onset on winter
and return when their colder homes have warmed up. Camping equipment like beds,
Chairs, central tables, lights, stoves etc are available at site on hire at
reasonable rates. To facilitate bird watching, there are observation hides and
watch tower.
After breakfast leave for Sultanpur Lake. Full day watch birds and in the evening
drive back to Delhi and transfer to airport in time to connect your flight for
onward destination.

DAY 02
After breakfast leave for Kurukshetra - The ancient land of Kurukshetra is regarded
as the birthplace of one of the greatest religions of the world, Hinduism. It
is the land where the sage Manu penned his 'Manusmriti' and where learned 'rishis'
compiled the Rig Veda and Sama Veda. Kurukshetra, named after the great sage
king Kuru, is also the site of the epic battle of Mahabharata. It was graced
with the visits of Lord Krishna, the Buddha and the Sikh gurus. Visit Brahma
Sarovar Legend has it that Lord Brahma created the universe from the land of
Kurukshetra, after a huge yajna. The Brahma Sarovar here is believed
to be the cradle of civilisation.
Shri Krishna Museum: The exhibits in the museum depict varied facets
of Lord Krishna's life and times. Patta Chitra, Kangra, Madhubani and Pichhvai
paintings, bronze collections dating to the Pallava, Chola and Nayaka periods
are some of the highlights of the museum. This is the only centre of its kind
in all of India.
Gurudwaras: Gurudwara Sidhbati is the famous site where Guru Nanak stayed
during his sojourn at Kurukshetra. Among the many gurudwaras dotting the region
are a gurudwara dedicated to Guru Hargobindji, located near the Sannihit tank
and Gurudwara Rajghat built in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh's visit to Kurukshetra.In
the evening drive back to Delhi and on arrival transfer to airport in time to
connect your flight for onward destination.
